Vinod Patel Company Limited (VPCL) - Cancellation and Return Policy
Delivery, cancellation, return, refund and replacement policy for web based orders.
Delivery
VPCL are committed to deliver your orders accurately and on time at all times. However web order customers are advised of the below noted delivery policy;
a) Confirmed orders are delivered within approximately 3 to 7 days’ in Viti Levu and Vanua Levu.
b) Confirmed orders to be delivered to other islands except Viti Levu and Vanua Levu, will only be delivered up to the closest maritime jetty from of our branch. Customer should make arrangements with respective shipping companies’ for onward delivery. VPCL accepts no responsibility for any damage caused during maritime deliveries.
c) Any orders to be delivered to other Pacific Islands countries are fully handled by our Export Division. Applicable shipping charges, documentation requirements, payment methods and any other export related information will be discussed by one our representatives upon receiving your inquiry.
Order cancellation
We encourage our customers to be fully aware of products they plan to purchase. However, at times our customers may realise that they have ordered the wrong item after confirming their order. VPCL permits these customers to cancel their order within 24 hours from the time of original order. Please to our refer refund policy for more details.
For orders that are cancelled after 24 hours or if products are already in transit for delivery, the customer is not entitled to cancel these order. VPCL has all the rights to reject the cancellation and refrain from refunding the purchase.
Returns
If the customer is not happy with the product upon delivery, products may be returned for a refund or replaced. Please refer below our Goods Return and Exchange Policy.
Cancellation can be processed as a credit for future purchases or refund in full (subject to surcharge)

Executive Summary | At Vinod Patel & Co. Limited, we have a large selection of Brands that customers know and trust. As such, we want them to be completely satisfied with their purchase and, if not, our Returns Policy will address any concern customers have with their purchase, particularly if it is defective or faulty. |
Our Commitment | Return or exchange of goods may be considered only within fourteen (14) days of purchase provided that the goods are in its original state and condition and returned with its original packaging and accessories. |
Return of Goods | Customers may be entitled to a refund or replacement for return of goods within fourteen (14) days under the following conditions:
For returns pertaining to any other conditions, the return or exchange will incur a minimum surcharge of 20% of the product value. Customers wishing to return goods are required to provide proof of purchase. No return will be provided in the absence of the original Tax Invoice. Any goods specially ordered and/or tailor- made for the customer will not be returned or refunded. |
Exchange of Goods | Should a customer wish to exchange an item due to change of preference, Vinod Patel & Co. Limited will impose a surcharge fee of 10% provided that:

Warranty | Goods under warranty will be returned as per terms and conditions of the warranty. Vinod Patel & Co. Limited may elect to return the product to the manufacturer’s repair agent to determine the nature of the problem. Vinod Patel & Co. Limited reserves the right not to offer an exchange, refund or repair where the item fault is a result of misuse or neglect. |
Expenses & Payment Clearance | In the event that Vinod Patel & Co. Limited needs to pick up the materials for return from the customers site/premises, the customer will be liable to pay for the cost of pick up. In case of any payments made by cheque, no cash refund will be made until the cheque is presented into the company bank account and cleared. |
Responsibility of Customers | Customers are advised to seek necessary clarification at the time of making their purchase to avoid any misunderstandings or confusions. |
Vinod Patel & Co. Limited reserves the right to assess the condition and age of returned goods prior to providing a repair, exchange or refund. This may result in a repair, exchange or refund being refused. | |
